Vodafone to open new shops to sell mobile broadband
The major mobile broadband provider, Vodafone has announced that it is all set to open 50 stores in the UK. Vodafone has taken this decision as it sees potential growth in the mobile broadband and internet services in the coming years. In March, 2008, Vodafone has announced that it has plans to expand its retail outlets and increase the number of its employees. It should be also noted that Orange has decided to open sixty new stores to sell its products to its customers. According to the report, the new stores of Vodafone will be provided with their own premises and infrastructure and will carry out the business transactions. These retail outlets will sell Vodafone mobile internet services to the customers and the customers can test the products before they buy them. However, the expansion of more outlets will move to the high street next month and the ISP has planned to increase the number of shops to four hundred in the coming months. As per the report, Vodafone will open the first chain of retail shops in Bristol Cabot Circus and London’s White City development and other shops will be opened in other places in the next few months.
