Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, a premium 4G smartphone, launched

Vodafone has unveiled the company's new Smart Ultra 6, a flagship 4G device, the latest addition to its range of smartphones. The handset comes with a Snapdragon 615 Octacore processor, a 5.5 inch full HD display, has a 'rear-mounted' 13 MP camera and a front-facing 5MP camera. It runs on Google's operating system, the Android 5.0 Lollipop version. It is powered by a battery that can last up to two days on a single charge, according to Vodafone.

The smartphone is available on pay-as-you-go on pay monthly plans. It's also available on many other different bundles, the most expensive of which offers customers free access to a choice that includes Sky Sports Mobile TV, Spotify Premium or a NOW TV Entertainment Pass. The device is available in anthracite black and offered to both business customers as well as consumers Access speeds of up to 76Mbps will be offered by Vodafone Connect and with a compatible mobile app giving greater control of connected devices that are at home.

Vodafone's director of terminals for UK and Ireland, Dee Kaul, said Vodafone branded devices sold across the world have proved a huge success and the Smart Ultra 6 is expected to be another great addition. He said the device combines premium features with affordability and the flagship Smart Ultra 6 offers customers a 4G device that fits their needs. Vodafone's rollout of 4G services has reached 569 towns and cities, covering as well as thousands of smaller communities all over UK.
