Vodafone extends its mobile broadband to Reading

The UK mobile broadband provider Vodafone has already planned to expand its 3G HSPA mobile broadband networks to extend its services to the areas like Bristol, Glasgow, Birmingham and Reading. The project which was started in May 2008, is expected to be completed by the later half of 2008.

Regarding the expansion plans of Vodafone ISP, it is worthwhile to remember the comments made by Nick Read, the CEO of Vodafone UK.

"The recent acceleration in the take up of mobile broadband has demonstrated just how hungry consumers are for internet access wherever they are. As a result we are significantly investing in our network so that more customers can experience our award winning, fast and reliable mobile broadband network,"

Vodafone, currently, offers high speed mobile broadband service in the UK with the maximum downstream speeds of 7.2Mbps and 1.8Mbps upload speeds. He has further stated:

"From June we will focus on providing additional relevant information with details on everyday usage scenarios, which will ensure customers can continue to make the most of Vodafone's high speed mobile broadband service."

According to the latest report, Vodafone is all set to launch its high speed mobile broadband service in Reading where the residents will be able to get Vodafone mobile broadband service soon.

According to the report from Getreading, Alec Howard, Head of PC connectivity at Vodafone said:

"As we invest significantly in rolling out improved speed and capacity, mobile broadband can not only help grease the wheels of industry in Reading but is also ideal for students and new home owners. With our predictable pricing and seamless quick set up, there has never been a better time to be with Vodafone."
