Virgin Media Suffers Email Blackout
The UK broadband customers of the popular cable broadband provider, Virgin Media have reportedly suffered an email outage this week, which led to the internet service provider's apologising to the customers across the UK. The problem, first identified in the morning of Monday August 24, persisted until local time 8.29 on Thursday to get fully resolved. Following the shortcoming, Virgin Media had stated on its cable broadband service's status web page that it looked forward to apologise the inconvenience caused, and when available, complete resolution details would be posted on the page.
Incidentally, the customers of the cable broadband supplier across the country were left with mere intermittent email access during the period between 24th and 27th August. Meanwhile, the company admitted that it still had not unearthed the cause of the outage, although its engineers were deeply looking into the matter.
