Monday, November 2nd 2009
Virgin Media has slashed the rates on its 50 Mbps
broadband package. This discount was announced by Virgin Media itself. By doing so the broadband provider has given a statement that while most broadband suppliers offered high speed at high price, this one has seriously intended a pleasing change. Those who are willing to enroll in this scheme with Virgin Media will be charged just GBP 18 per month for the first three months.

This three months subscription offers a 50 Mbps speed package to its customers and the users have to pay it through eBilling or Direct Debit. To attain this high speed broadband package the user have to subscribe for Virgin's phone line service for GBP 11 per month for 3 months and after that the cost will increase to 28 pounds monthly.
New clients who do not require a phone line can have this 50Mbps service without choosing the offer. For this one has to pay GBP 33 for the first three months and after that it will increase to GBP 38.
Virgin Media's broadband packages comes with a free modem, a wireless N router, free installation, free PCGuard Total, 100 free photo prints monthly, automatic backup and unlimited storage space. With the chosen package Virgin Media offers the best uplink and downlink speeds that are available in the country.
According to an industry expert this deal was really amazing for its value for money performance along with the optimum broadband speeds. People who download music and stream TV through Spotify and iPlayer will find this deal really hard to resist.
Currently
Virgin Media is planning to launch a new broadband service that enables its clients to get downlink speed of up to 200 Mbps. Meanwhile the cable broadband provider is putting a great effort to get subscribers into their 50 Mbps package before the launching of 200 Mbps package.
