Virgin Media Plans to Spend More on Marketing
Tuesday, May 4th 2010
Broadband supplier Virgin Media are planning to promote their fibre optic broadband, home phone and digital TV packages, by concentrating their resources on advertising.
The broadband provider is said to be investing almost £173 million in making adverts for the products. The company has supposedly spent £41 million already, during the first quarter of this year on marketing.
Chief Executive of Virgin Media, Neil Berkett, reportedly told the Guardian, “We are spending more on marketing, we are continuing to save our pennies so we can spend more on marketing. We don't necessarily do massive, we do sensible."
