Virgin Media, the UK’s Internet service provider has joined hands with the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca) to fight against internet fraud. Virgin media has warned customers about the SpyEye Trojan. This kind of approach that helps customers eliminate serious computer infections have been announced by the ISP last year. According to SOCA, 1,500 Virgin Media customers were identified from the threat. The ISP successfully warned its customers of its dangers through the Malware Defence Campaign. The malware campaign aims at offering its customers support during virus threats. Virgin Media claims that it is the alone provider to make such a proactive effort. Though customers are offered with first-class anti-virus software, they fail to update it leaving them at a risk.
