Samuel L Jackson Promoting The 50Mbps Virgin Media ServiceVirgin Media, for the first time seems to have been switched to an altogether different strategy of a simple approach engaged to its media products' advertisements. This refers to the TV campaign that would be preceded by the print ads, with “Broadband Power to the People” as the message.

The fresh integrated brand campaign launched by Virgin Media is with a view to educate the customers about the value of its broadband, mobile phone service and video-on-demand products. For the optimisation of the campaign, Virgin Media has come into a deall with three lead agencies, namely; Rapier, Y&R/rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe and Start Creative.

Nevertheless, a surprise development amongst the lot is their 50Mbps broadband service taking a back seat in the media campaign. This concept was launched last year with much excitement by the ISP, using the punchline; “mother of all broadband”.
