Virgin Media Creates Powerful Stuff YouTube Application
Reports say that Virgin Media, the major cable broadband provider in the United Kingdom, has developed a fresh application for YouTube, which entitled its customers to customise not just the video clips of theirs, but also that of others. The new YouTube channel application was designed by Saint for the internet service provider. This application will help the users to add to the videos made by them or chosen from YouTube, effects of their own such as visuals, music and sound. It is believed that Virgin Media has employed this campaign to reinforce itself as a major provider of fibre optic super-fast broadband service. Virgin Media also expects that the video highlighted campaign would promote it as a commendable supplier of multimedia content. According to Virgin Media's senior manager for online marketing, Rich Duff-Tytler, the new campaign not only stood to celebrate entertainment, but also stood for reinforcing the association of brand Virgin Media with online video content. A recent research carried out by a reputed research agency had ranked Virgin Media as the provider of the fastest broadband service in the UK. However, the same research had rated the service of its rival ISP, Sky as the best value for money broadband service.
