Virgin Media celebrates Broadband by getting Arty
Leading cable and fibre optic UK broadband provider, Virgin Media has reportedly commissioned a work of art to celebrate the internet services availability in the United Kingdom. The broadband provider that is all set to launch a 100Mbps broadband service in the UK has given an apportunity for the United Visual Artists to develop a light installation to celebrate the tenth year of the broadband service launch in the United Kingdom. According to reports in Dexigner, the speed of light considered the themes of telecommunications and would be previewed on the internet from the end of March 2010. In the later part of the year, the light installation work would be opened to the people in a four-storeyed industrial space named Bargehouse that is located in South Bank, London. Virgin Media, the provider of broadband and TV bundles in the country has released the details following the launch of a fresh entrpreneur scheme teaming up with Enterprise UK. It has also been claimed that Virgin Media has created its Pioneer initiative to make sure that young entrpreneurs were provided with access to peer advice and support from a galaxy of business experts via a fresh internet-based community.
