Nine-month Student Broadband from Virgin Media

Virgin Media has launched three short broadband deals for students. The deals are nine-month broadband packages made especially for students. These short deals mean that people in university education who sign up for them will not have to pay for their broadband over the summer holidays.



The packages cost £20 per month for download speeds of up to 10Mb/s and £30 a month for download speeds of up to 20Mb/s with the first two payments costing only £25 per month.



The other offer is a bundle of up to 20Mb/s broadband and unlimited weekend UK landline calls for £20 a month with £5 discount applied to the first two bills.



Both the deals of up to 20Mb/s are subject to payment of Virgin Media phone line rental, which costs £11.99 per month.



These packages are offered till the 31st of October, 2010. Virgin Media is offering free installation of broadband and landline bundles until the date.
