Launch of 4K Ultra HD TV channel by Virgin Media

One of the UK ISPs Virgin Media has recently informed that they will be launching a new Ultra HD 4K TV Channel from September 17, 2018 free of cost. The channel will be available for the customers of Virgin TV Full House and VIP packages along with a V6 set top box. The new channel will start to come on air in Channel 999 which will be broadcasted at prime time till early hours and on the launch day, it will begin from 8.20 pm.

The channel will bring popular documentaries, dramas and concerts. Some of them are Start Up with Martin Freeman, Shut Eye with Isabella Rosselini, The Art of More with Dennis Quai, Masters of Sex starring Michael Sheen, House of Cards and Nature & Wildlife documentaries set in Vietnam and Zambia, Music from the Rolling Stones, Imagine Dragons and Sting and more.

Chief Digital Entertainment Officer of Virgin Media - David Bouchier said that they are giving their customers to experience the ultimate entertainment with the launch of Virgin TV Ultra HD in crystal clear picture quality. Various documentaries, epic dramas, shows, rock concerts etc will be enjoyed with more picture clarity and quality of HD. Already they have shown sports events of Wimbledon and Champions League in ultra HD and now they are also giving HD treament for entertainment to make our customers to watch in a best way.

As of now, around 2 million customers have V6 set top box in the UK. If you are a customer of any of the two packages and if would like to enjoy the clarity of HD channel, you need a appropriate TV set to feel the best quality.
