Monday, January 21st 2008

UK Online, the subsidiary of Easynet and BskyB has announced that its Premier broadband customers will get Microsoft Exchange 2007 from March without any additional cost. Currently, the package costs £24.99 a month and provides unlimited download limit with 16MB downstream speed and 1MB upstream speed.

Using Microsoft Exchange 2007 and new web hosting service, Premier customers can use their internet browser to view the contacts, emails and calendar.

Chris Stening of UK Online said:
Many small businesses use consumer grade POP3 email which limits how and when they can access their email.

"More importantly, they run the risk of losing all their emails and contacts if their PC or laptop hardware fails. Microsoft Hosted Exchange is the best business-strength email there is. In today’s business environment, a business quality, easy to manage professional email service is key."

With the web hosting service, the business broadband customers can develop and host and enhance the outlook of their websites using many design templates provided with the package.
