BBC iPlayer to telecast first drama

BBC has announced that the drama ‘Moving On’ will premiere on iPlayer for a fifth series. This will be the first kind of series to debut on iPlayer which is the radio and internet television service and software application developed by BBC.

All the five series of the premiere will be telecast to viewers through content streaming before the broadcast is actually made. This was announced by Head of TV Content of BBC iPlayer. The drama will consist of five films produced by Jimmy McGovern, multi-BAFTA-winning writer and EMMY and its cast include Anita Dobson, Anthony Flanagan and Natalie Gumede. Apart from the series there will be two films directed by Robert Glenister and Johnny Vegas.
