UK Online Premier, as the name indicates, is for those who require great speed and unlimited download limit. This ADSL+2 broadband package offers up to 16 Mbps download speed and 1 Mbps upload speed for a monthly cost of £24.99 . Premier package sounds more like a complete business broadband packages as it offers free webspace, domain name and static IP option.
If you are already a customer of UK Online, you will find the prices still remain the same although some specifications like speeds have changed. So, you will continue to be using your existing package, with additional upload speed. It should be remembered that the speed one actually gets often depends upon the line quality and the distance from the exchange. Although, you may sign up for a Premier package, you still need to check these factors if you want to assess the actual speed you are likely to get.
