UK Broadband to bring WiMAX to the market very soon
According to reports, Wireless Broadband service WiMAX could be made available in the UK very soon. Director of Commercial Development at UK broadband, Martin Petheram said that the company is at the penultimate stage of confirming the plans on how the WiMAX can be made available.
He said that their aim would be to create a wholesale business network in vertical markets and added that the WiMAX will have to play a vital role In providing a global service commitment for broadband in rural areas.
Martin also said that currently the networks in many areas are capacity-overburdened and such issues will be addressed by working with partners to unload capacity from the mobile networks.
WiMAX is expected to be made available in the UK in the coming months which is certain to create a revolution.
