‘Talk Talk’ will go ahead with its fibre broad band installation in Scotland. This will do a lot for the government in its digital targets. According to Paul Lawton of the broadband service provider, 700 new exchanges in the UK will be commissioned in the next couple of years, facilitating faster uploads and downloads. As a result the business will flourish and economy will rise in Scotland as well. That will boost the economy of the UK as well. With the availability of fast connectivity the companies in the region will be armed to compete with the rivals in the rest of the country. As per Ofcom, only 61% of Scotland is fed with broadband, whereas country average is 74%.
