Three unveils its mobile broadband speed plan

Hutchison 3G UK which operates under the name ‘Three’ unveils its recent scheme to improve the mobile broadband speed. Three, the mobile network operator has been introducing new schemes and offers to attract its customers and enhance their user experience. In a recent announcement, the company has outlined the plans to finalize its upgrading process to rollout super fast HSPA+ technology. This initiative is sure to benefit a significant number of customers.

Speculative downlink speeds of up to 42Mbps are now being offered by the operator. The speeds are now made available through Dual Carrier HSPA+ (DC-HSPA) technology, as a trial along a M3 corridor and south west London. Later this summer, the company hopes to rollout the technology across the nation. In its blog, the company said that the upgrade will enable them to offer improved and high quality services for its customers. This plan comes as good news, especially during this period where demand for speeds is high. The upgrades are being made to the existing infrastructure of the company.

The company also revealed its plans to run tests of Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, during their announcement. In the next few months, the operator will start trails of Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology. This move will enable the operator to prepare it for offering true 4G services, once the appropriate spectrum is available.
