The broadband provider ‘Three’ has decided to offer special discount to Tablet and Dongle users visiting New Zealand for the Rugby Union World Cup this year. The data roaming cost has been cut. A discount of 80% is granted to Three customers when they access internet through media tablet or dongle to be in contact with family and friends or for going through the latest online news. The special roaming deal can be availed at no extra cost. The data roaming charges at New Zealand will be the same as that they would be paying while in Europe. The charges have been reduced from GBP 6 to GBP 1.28 per MB. Three claims that this is the cheapest data roaming rate for customers taking the trip to see the world cup matches in New Zealand. Thomas Malleschitz of Three is of all praise for the mobile broadband which has completely changed the living of the people. There is no field which is not catered by it. However, cost of roaming, especially overseas roaming is extremely high. But Thee has done a great service to the sports lovers to make the rate in New Zealand on par with that in Europe. The tournament, probably the biggest sporting event ever undertaken by the tiny country will commence on the 9th of September at Eden Park, Auckland with the match between the hosts ‘All Blacks’ and ‘Pacific Islanders Tonga’. England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Romania, Argentina, South Africa and United States have sent their teams for participation.
