The network provider ‘Three’ intends to concentrate on consumer market. The company is not interested in new business customers as on now.

According to Mobile, 14 staffs in the establishment are likely to be shown the door. They are on serious consultation with the management.

The small office and home office (SOHO) customers with four connections or less will continue to get the service of the service provider till the expiry of the current contract. However, Three will not deal with the probable new business customers any more.

The business to business (b2b) customer base of Three is a mere 0.5% of its customer base. Three has advised its business dealers to exit the business channel trading of Three this week, as it is about to terminate its b2b stockist codes.

Dealers have been warned against their use of customer information for their own purposes. Only Three has the right over the customer information. The dealers must honour all offers such as cashback.

A spokesperson of Three informed that Three is the fastest growing operator in the UK and that it wants to concentrate in the consumer market.

The company will be serving the SOHO customers and existing business customers as before, but it will not have anything to do with the larger establishments.

The spokes person added that the wholesale operation is proceeding satisfactorily and with the help of its partners, Three is providing a number of options for the business communities who can make best use of the company’s network.
