New Mobile Broadband plan with 40GB data launched by Three UK

Wednesday, August 26th 2015

Three UK, probably UK's fastest growing mobile network, is now launching a data usage plan on its Mobile Broadband deals. This is double to the previous 20GB allowance (at £21 to £23 per month) and comes at a price tag of £45 monthly.

This new data plan is presently being offered to those subscribers taking up the Huawei E5573 4G-Mobile WiFi (MiFi) device or the lower spec device E5330, that come with a 12-month contract period. The E5573 comes bundled with a £45 per month and £9 for the device. The plan with 40GB allowance, charges beyond the allowance a cost of 1p per MB and includes 600 minutes of free UK calls, plus texts for all-you-can-eat.

The 40GB allowance still is not as per Ofcom's estimate for the average monthly data usage, by a consumer on fixed-line Home Broadband, put at 58GB. But it's coming closer and this is a prospective tariff plan in this viewpoint. However rival EE is offering a summer special of 100GB on 4G usage, but only is "free" for 2 months, thereafter attracting charges, as customers must top-up to continue usage and avail offers.
