First Three Home Broadband Product Launched Into the Market
Three, the mobile phone network has introduced a new trail product into the UK market. This product provides accessibility to the Internet to households through a SIM card and a mobile broadband package from Huawei called the WebCube.
This product the WebCube is a 21Mbps HSPA+ “broadband in a box” all rolled into one. It only needs to be plugged in to a normal power source and it utilizes the Three mobile phone network to provide access to the Internet in households. This product can be connected to five varied devices simultaneously.
For the trail venture the three towns of Edinburg and Glasgow that are situated in Scotland and Leeds have been selected.
Three is presently vending the WebCube through stores as well as online in these three cities with either a down payment for the device and the contract for the mobile broadband data allowance or as a two year packaged deal.
The WebCube made by Huawei for Three is available at 59.99 pounds and one would have to pay a down payment of fifteen pounds for 10GB usage or one can avail of a two year contract for 15.99 pounds every month for a 15GB data package.
The mobile network Three is trying out the WebCube for an indefinite period in the above mentioned three cities. The trial run could be for three or six months or indefinitely till Three has been able to collect sufficient information to set the product right before it is provided throughout the country.
