Wednesday, November 16th 2011

According to reliable reports the customers are deserting the TalkTalk, the broadband service provider. In the third quarter, the subscriber strength dropped to 4,129,000 which means that about 43,000 customers switched over to other providers between July and September.

The drop was 27,000 in the earlier quarter. It shows that the attrition has been on the increase during the last three months. However the company expects to put better show in the first half of the next year. It has gone into details about the problems faced by the customers and have decided to take steps to set things right.

Dido Harding of Talk Talk remarked that earnings of the company rose by 36% during the last six months.

It will have no problem in attaining the operating efficiency target. The company is doing its best for the customers. Their problems have been immediately attended to. There is thus lesser number of complaints at the contact centres. At the same customer queries and complaints are settled so fast that more and more users are interested in joining the service of TalkTalk. In other words, the company has taken various steps to enhance customer experience.

However there is a gap between the initiatives taken up by the company and the increase in the customer strength. But she expects that things will improve soon.
