TalkTalk emulates Virgin to launch Quad-play Bundles

It has been reported that TalkTalk, one of the leading broadband home phone bundle providers operating in the United Kingdom is taking the Virgin Media path to launch its own quad-play bundles.


 


This means that the broadband provider will soon be adding mobile phone services to their broadband bundles to elevate itself to the status of a quad-play bundle provider.


 


According to new reported by Mobile Today, the internet service provider was hoping to emerge as a mobile virtual network operator when the firm demerges from its parent company, the mobile phone retail giant Carphone Warehouse in March.


 


It is understodd that Vodafone is the forerunner among the lot that aspire to sign the contract with TalkTalk to provide it with the all important mobiles service. This would place TalkTalk in the league where Virgin Media belongs to, with its ability to provide broadband, home phone, mobile services and digital TV.


 


Meanwhile, analyst at research firm Strategy Analytics Phil Kendall said to the website that this move from TalkTalk would be some kind of a natural extension for the broadband provider.
