TalkTalk committed to expanding its customer base

TalkTalk, the broadband provider in the UK is dedicated to offering its services to more people across the UK. Chief Executive at TalkTalk, Dido Harding said that the firm is backing the Race Online 2012 campaign that aims at increasing the digital participation for upcoming Olympic Games happening in London.

In the UK 8.7 million people are still not connected to internet and they are failing to benefit from the technology, she noted. She also highlighted the importance of internet in people’s everyday lives and its never-ending possibilities. With internet people can save money and live more happily, Ms Harding added.

She said that she enjoyed her time at a internet beginners' course in a UK online centre and was happy to see people take their initial steps online. Digital Heroes Awards that recognizes the efforts of people to enhance online participation in their areas is backed up by TalkTalk.
