The UK broadband internet provider, Carphone Warehouse has signed a deal with D-Link to offer DSL-2640R Wireless G broadband routers to its broadband customers, according to a report. This means, the customers of AOL broadband and TalkTalk internet service provider, owned by the Carphone Warehouse will get D-Link wireless router without any additional cost when they sign a 24 month contract.

In addition, the customers (24 month contract) of AOL and TalkTalk can also exchange their existing routers for the new D-Link routers.

Alan Harten of the Telecom has commented:

"TalkTalk and AOL Broadband's business has grown by more than 21 per cent in 2007, which means they now have 2.6 million users.

"It looks like one of the big beneficiaries from this success will be D-Link."

Currently, AOL offers three broadband packages – Wireless, Wireless Plus and Flexi. All AOL customers get free wireless router when they commit to a contract length of 18 or 24 months.

TalkTalk has also recently launched free wireless router offer with its broadband packages under 18 or 24 month contract.
