‘Ofcom’ to put to task ‘Talk Talk’ for violation of rules

Saturday, October 15th 2011

It has been reported that ‘Talk Talk’ has violated rules and regulations with respect to ‘silent calls’. Ofcom has been assigned to investigate the matter.

At the beginning of the year, measures were taken to put an end to mishandling of automated dialling systems. The department may be able to collect not less than
GBP 2 Million from the violators.

Media regulator Ofcom has ample proof that the service provider Talk Talk exploited the communication network, time and again.

Talk Talk has already arranged for modification in its advertising practises to enhance its performance.

Talk Talk has put the blame on a subcontractor for misusing the facility in the months of February and March.

A sales agency company of Talk Talk was also responsible for the misuse.

Talk Talk expects its associates to be sincere and duty bound. Otherwise they will be shown the door. If any penalty is forced on Talk Talk, it has no other go but to recover it from the culprits.
