Internet solves 60 percent of problems
According to a new research by TalkTalk, almost 60 per cent of the problems are resolved online. Broadband users seek internet to solve six out of their ten problems, happening in their everyday lives.
Consumers rely on internet to access various information and today people depend on the internet heavily. They get online to track a plumber or access information about a particular illness. Almost 86 per cent of home users make use of internet banking services no less than once a year. All the surveyed people claim that they have made a minimum of one online purchase a year.
Among the respondents 54 percent listened to music online and over one third downloaded at least a film. To perform everyday activities like communication, entertainment and shopping people rely on internet. Almost 30 percent of the everyday activities are done over online. TalkTalk commercial director, Tristia Clarke said that people are using internet to pay bills and even to find their life partner.
She also noted the importance of getting everyone online. Currently, 8.7 million people are unable to access internet.
