TalkTalk Rolls Out Fibre Broadband (FTTC) ServiceAn announcement from the internet service provider operating in the United Kingdom, TalkTalk, claiming that a residential broadband customer has turned out to be the broadband supplier's first to sign up to its FTTC (Fibre-to-the-Cabinet) broadband services, comes as a welcome news for the country's broadband fraternity.

The UK broadband providing firm that is popular for its cheap business broadband packages is currently trialling the new fibre broadband services of BT, with a view to offer its customers the opportunity to enjoy super-fast broadband connectivity. BT's fibre broadband services are expected to offer connection speeds of up to 40Mbps.

A pro-broadband website catering for the people in the UK has meanwhile reported that a graph published by TalkTalk has made it clear that the internet connection speeds available through the fresh fibre optic broadband network were considerably higher than the ISP's standard service.

It is understood that the FTTC broadband service trials of the broadband provider are set to roll until the beginning of the next year. In the mean time, the internet broadband company owned by mobile phone giant Carphone Warehouse will see that the participants were provided with a fresh modem and router to enjoy the higher broadband speeds.

TalkTalk also made it vivid that the Essentials broadband and phone bundle package of its, would be given to the home broadband users free of charges for the length of the trials.
