Tuesday, April 27th 2010

The UK Broadband speeds currently available make a lot of countries sit up and take notice. Sky is offering Superfast Broadband speeds of up to 20 Mbps to its UK customers, reportedly. The announcement of this new offering from Sky comes with no additional charges. Starting June 1, this new package will be available to all of Sky's customers. In fact, Sky will be the first ISP to provide a Broadband speed of 20 Mbps free of charge to its customers. Broadband Providers, take notice.

This package is called as the Sky Everyday Lite and goes on to give 2GB of usage each month. The Sky Everyday Lite is available for its users on Sky TV along with Sky Talk and it will cost those who are not on this plan an extra fiver. Of course, the other plan will go on to offer the same speed of 20 Mbps with no cap, as such. Kudos to Sky for bringing on offer Superfast speeds to UK customers.
