Managing Director Appointment confirmed by Sky
One of the popular broadband and TV bundle providers operating in the United Kingdom, Sky has announced the appointment of a fresh managing director to take care of its customer group. The internet service provider that is highly popular in the United Kingdom for its offering an array of utility bundles including broadband and digital TV services, has confirmed that their existing managing director for customer group Brian Sullivan would be succeeded by Andrea Zappia at the beginning of next month. Zappia is believed to lead the customer operations and sales marketing teams of the broadband provider company, as part of his work. It is further believed that he would focus mainly on both acquisition and retention of fresh clients. As a matter of fact, Zappia will report to Jeremy Darroch, the chief executive officer of the internet service providing company. Darroch has welcomed the fresh appointment. Darroch explained that he was delighted to announce an appointment of such high-calibre, and hoped that Zappia would bring with him the all important experience to further strengthen the BskyB's leadership team. The appointment news has come following another announcement from Sky that it was lauching its much awaited 3D digital TV services, later in the year 2010.
