Post Office slashes prices on home broadband and phone packages

One of the ISPs in the UK – Post Office has informed that they have reduced their prices of ADSL2+ and FTTC based broadband and phone bundles. They are offering their packages to the new customers at more competitive and discounted prices among all their products.


 


The customers will expect to get unlimited data, a wireless router, phone line rental included, free UK support, free calls to other Post Office home phones and free online tool/parental controls. The operator also agrees that they will not raise their prices during the contract period excluding call cost.


 


Their packages are:


 


Unlimited Broadband
With an average speed of 11Mbps at a price of £15.90 a month for a contract term of 12 months and thereafter charged at £30 along with zero upfront charges.


 


Unlimited Fibre Broadband
With an average speed of 36 Mbps at a price of £24 a month for a contract term of 12 months and thereafter charged at £37 along with £10 as upfront charges.


 


Unlimited Fibre Broadband Plus
With an average speed of 63 Mbps at a price of £30 a month for a contract term of 12 months and thereafter charged at £42 along with £10 as upfront charges.


 


The users can also get add ons such as free UK Weekend calls at £2 payable extra a month, £4 extra for evening and weekend Calls and £6 for anytime calls. Or they can opt for Anytime Plus at a rate of £10 for getting 1000 mins of mobile calls and 1000 mins to 15 international destinations calls.
