Home Phone and Broadband Bundles delayed by O2
O2 one of the leading mobile broadband and home broadband suppliers operating in the United Kingdom, has confirmed last day that they have delayed the launch of their new home phone and related broadband internet service bundles for the time being. The home phone and broadband bundle products were announced by O2 in 2010 January, with an aim to avail it in the market from March. Nevertheless, it is now believed that the launch of the products would be stalled until later in the Spring.
This statement from the leading mobile broadband and home broadband provider indicates that the launch might miss March, as the spring months in the United Kingdom run from March to May. Perhaps, the admirers of O2 can expect the launch by May.
The launch of the home phone products that include line and voice rental by O2 is really crucial for the broadband provider as it would elevate the UK ISP owned by Telefonica to the status of a triple play bundle provider in the United Kingdom, alongside some big names like TalkTalk, BT and Virgin Media.
According to an O2 spokesman, whenever they had launched a product they always wanted to make sure that their customers were provided with the best possible service, particularly as the dissatisfaction of the customers with rival ISPs was apparent. The person added that they would be launching their home phone service in the later part of spring.
