Plusnet will soon get YouView TV service for its customers

Plusnet customers will be able to view YouView, the digital TV service from BT soon. Plusnet customers are not getting a triple play deal, bundling TV, home phone and broadband as other rival providers offer. So, with Plusnet packaging this digital TV service, it would be a step in the right direction. With rival providers offering triple and quad play deals, Plusnet can thus provide digital TV from its parent company BT, to retain its customers. This was revealed when BT's Chief Executive, Gavin Patterson, said that its low-cost broadband subsidiary Plusnet is planning to offer YouView on its platform.

BT rolled out its YouView service in October of 2-12. BT is now investing £115 million in the development of YouView digital TV platform, along with its partners that include communications firm Arquiva, TalkTalk, ITV and BBC. At present Plusnet customers have access to BT Sport content by paying a little less for it through the Sky Digital TV platform.
