PlusNet launch new broadband phone bundle

PlusNet, the UK broadband provider has launched a new broadband bundle that will offer 8MB broadband and phone package for £6.99 per month. However, there is a line rental of £10, thus taking the total monthly cost to £16.99 a month. There is no set up cost for the new customers who sign a 12 month contract and the broadband usage between midnight and 8am is free.

There are also price changes in the existing PlusNet Broadband Your Way Options with BBYW Option 1 will now cost £9.99 per month. BBYW Option 2 and Option 3 packages will cost £14.99 and £19.99 respectively. Option 1 broadband customers will now get 2GB monthly usage allowance (previously, 1GB). Although there is 12 month minimum contract, the customers can opt for one month contract with one-off activation fee of £40. PlusNet broadband customers will also get wired or wireless router, broadband calls, weekend UK landline calls and 24/7 UK based customer support.

The new bundle, Essential will offer 8MB download speed and 1GB monthly usage allowance. The additional usage can be bought at the rate of £1.25 per GB.

PlusNet says that this bundle offer is the cheapest ever broadband and phone package and excellent option for the broadband customers who want good value for money.
