Orange Mobile slashes data roaming charges

Orange, the UK ISP and mobile operator has announced new roaming data bundles for its mobile phone consumers, according to the report.

According to the new tariff, the Travel Data plans with 3MB data usage and 10MB data usage will cost £5.00 and £12 respectively. This will help the Orange mobile customers to save up to 60% of the normal price for PAYM packages.

In addition, the business customers can also use the option to get larger data bundles depending on their usage. The new prices of data roaming services will help the business customers to save more than 50 percent of what they are currently paying. For instance, the 5MB data usage will cost just £6.38 for the business customers. Larger data bundle with 200MB can be purchased for just £100. The business users can also take advantage of the cheaper global roaming data bundles to save their money.

Orange has also introduced changes in the tariff (per Mb rate) for its Pay As you Consume standard plan. Accordingly, the normal rate for data cards (£3.50 per Mb) and handsets (£4.50 per Mb) will be changed to a flat rate of £2.55 per Mb.

There is also price cut in roaming changes for Orange Pay Monthly customers when they travel in Europe. Roaming charge has been slashed to £3 per Mb from £8 per Mb.
