The UK internet service provider Orange has been criticised by one of its customers after the broadband provider’s seemingly charging unfairly for its broadband services, according to fresh reports. The report says that, to protest against some fresh costs charged against him, a customer of the broadband supplier has written to a local daily.

Broadband Customer Criticises Orange UK's ServiceThe complaining customer of Orange UK, Stan Francis residing at Romsley has reportedly informed the Bromsgrove Standard that his broadband provider had slapped him with a bill that showed almost an extra of GBP 9 per month. He complained that Orange had explained the surprise bill amount to him that it was necessary owing to the charges the ISP had to pay BT for using its exchange in the village that was not unbundled.

Francis, in his statement to the newspaper, noted that if the government was sincere toward its 2Mbps universal broadband commitment, it also had the moral obligation to consider the pricing. He added that the broadband providers providing internet access in the country required to be fairer with their prices, as well.

Francis, concluded by stating that there were more exchanges in the United Kingdom like the one they had in Romsley that meant numerous people were going to get affected by such charges.
