Barclays Unveils its Orange Student Mobile Broadband Package

Barclays has announced a new student package that is all about a mobile broadband deal of Orange, for the fresh academic year. By this offer, everyone signing up with the bank for a student account for the academic year 2009, will be allowed to save 25 percent on the monthly charge of the UK internet service provider's mobile broadband service.


 


Barclay Bank LogoApart from an interest-free overdraft facility offer of GBP2,000, the Barclay's student account holder will also enjoy a cheap broadband package highlighted by options ranging from a base eighteen month package priced at GBP7.50 a month for a download allowance of 1GB, GBP11.25 for 3GB allowance and GBP18.75 for 10GB allowance. The dongle offered here is a 3G Orange broadband dongle.


 


The Current Accounts head at Barclays, Andrew Harris said that they believed that the discount of 25 percent on the mobile broadband packages of Orange combined with an up to GBP 2000 flat overdraft facility, regardless of the candidates' year of study could emerge as a great help for the students.
