Metronet to roll-out its hybrid superfast broadband to St.Helen's

Thursday, July 11th 2013

Metronet of UK operates one of the most advanced hybrid networks in the country, by its combination of wired and wireless technologies, offering advanced connectivity solutions. Metronet has expanded its ultrafast hybrid fibre-optic and carrier grade wireless broadband network to reach premises in St.Helen's.  This follows the recent roll-outs into Widnes and Chester.

St.Helen's is a former industrial hot-spot but a hard to reach area at present. The Metronet service is aimed to reach areas having poor copper-wired internet services, such as the ADSL, SDSL and EFM services and as an alternative to expensive leased line services. Metronet is able to connect customers at 1Mbps to 10GBps speeds, by using its next generation hybrid network technology. So now, St.Helens can benefit from this company's trustworthy services especially for businesses. Director of Operations at Metronet, Lee Lawrence, has said that this roll-out brings North West a step closer to omnipresent service provided by a company offering great service, flexibility and value for money. Thus eventually it would force traditional providers here in the fray to deliver better speeds to St.Helen's.
