Another customer data breach from Three UK's system.

Three UK, a prominent mobile operator, has confirmed of a customer data breach. A fault with the operator's online account management system led to a "small number" of their costumes viewing the account details of other customers, that included past bills, call history, phone numbers, names, addresses, etc. Three UK has not given details or useful information regarding the breach, nor does their official statement mention of a fix to the problem. Three UK handles 9 million subscribers.


This latest incident follows closely of news last week about Three UK admitting that the personal data breach last year was on a much larger scale than reported and had affected 133,827 subscribers. In the meantime, it seems that the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) is investigating the latest data breach.
