O2 Upgrades Their Broadband Deals
In a recent statement, O2 said that it has upgraded the broadband deals to provide its customers better experience.
Unlimited usage allowances for their higher-tier home broadband deals have been restored and the firm will not limit monthly data usage. The All Rounder and The Works broadband packages from O2 will not be restricted anymore from monthly data usage.
Considering the usage download habits and usage needs of the customers, O2 has made this move. With truly unlimited downloads, O2 customers can access their internet, download and perform other internet activities with complete peace of mind. They won’t be charged extra for overuse.
The 20 Mb Works package designed for household use includes advanced router and IT security software. It allows customers to make use of static IP address. The package costing £25.53 one time connection fee is offered at £21 per month for existing customers and for £26 per month for non-O2 mobile customers.
‘All Rounder’ broadband package is designed for lighter users and those who use broadband for music and TV online. This deal is offered at £12.50 a month for current O2 users and £17.50 a month for non-mobile customers.
For basic home broadband services, O2 offers 20GB monthly usage allowance broadband offering 1.3Mb upload speeds and 20Mb download speeds. A free wireless broadband router, McAfee Security Software and 100 web texts a month are offered to the subscribers.
New O2 customers will have to pay £13.50 a month while existing customers will need to pay just £8.50 per month.
