O2 installs free WiFi service in all Argos stores
735 Argos stores across the UK and the Republic of Ireland will be connected to free high speed O2 WiFi allowing shoppers to access the internet on their mobile devices while in-store.
With this, users can access online deals, social media profiles and other online content without having to use their mobile provider. O2 serves more than 124mn customers every year and with the launch it looks forward to reposition its status in digital retail industry. Registered customers can use the free wireless service on visiting any Argos store. While new customers have to register for it and choose the O2 WiFi network and follow the instructions given.
O2 WiFi is also available in their partner concerns such as McDonald's, Costa Coffee, Debenhams and House of Fraser. This new service will allow the company to provide better customer service no matter where in the store they are. O2 Wifi service can be enjoyed by all Argos customers regardless to which mobile broadband provider they are tied up with.
