• O2 and T-Mobile slash EU Roaming charges

UK Mobile operators O2 and T-Mobile have slashed the roaming charges for their customers who use their services in European Union countries, according to the report. O2 mobile customers who use 1 MB of data will pay £3 which means the new prices will allow the pre-paid customers to save more than three-fourths of what they were paying earlier. Likewise, the postpaid customers can now save 57 % as against the previous mobile tariff.

In addition, O2 customers who subscribed to the post-paid services can take advantage of new data bundles which cost £20 for 10MB of data or £50 for 50MB of data.

T-Mobile has also announced price cuts for using its European data roaming services. Accordingly, their customers will see the roaming charges sliding from £7.50 per MB to £1.50. Meanwhile, the texting will cost just 25 pence per text (previously it was 40 pence.) More details can be found in the websites of O2 and T-mobile.
