Is it a tablet? Is it a smartphone? O2 brings us the Dell Streak
Dell, the computer manufacturer has teamed up with O2 to launch the latest Dell Streak on O2's network.
The new device is reported to be available from 1st week of June, looks to be targeted at the huge gap in the market between tablet PC and smartphone, since a tablet is too big and smartphone being too small. O2 describes it to 'a bold new class of product' that combines Android operating system of Google with a decent 1GHZ Qualcomm processor, 5MP dual LED flash camera. Connectivity comes free from Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth.
People who are looking to experience a big screen without carrying a laptop around will find the device more interesting as it has got entertainment, internet, turn by turn navigation and all that they are seeking for. The president of Dell Communication Solution Group, Ron Garriques said that Dell Streak's unique size provides user a refreshed way to connect, enjoy and navigate their lives.
While Apple can obviously take away the crush by introducing a new device to the market, lets us stay back to see whether Dell has got the same fanbase to make the Streak stick.
