More than Half the Britons Wish to Surf the Net while Holidaying
A new survey shows that Britons are more interested in surfing the internet even while they are on holidays. The study also shows two thirds of the people spending most of their time on net when their loved ones are kept wanting during holidays.
The research had been conducted by BT mobile broadband and Visit Britain. It said that most of the people interested in the net came under the age group of between eighteen and twenty-five years. Majority of them , according to the survey used their laptops for posting updates in Twitter and Facebook besides for uploading holiday snaps.
It was also revealed by the research that many holidaymakers relied on the web to boost their holidays. Many holidaymakers claimed that they surfed the net to get information about the places they were planning for a holiday, and about seventy seven per cent of them booked their holidays over the broadband internet.
Commercial director of BT Retail Jon Hurry said that the holidaymakers wanted to get on line when out and the study more than proved that people resorted heavily on being connected to the net all the while.
