EE launches new plans for sharing mobile broadband on multiple devices

Sunday, July 21st 2013

The broadband provider EE of UK has recently launched its new Shared 4GEE plans. The new plans allow customers to share their mobile broadband data and services over multiple devices like smartphones, tablets and dongles. The plans eliminate the need to make separate billings for each mobile device or to pay separately for each plan. The new shared plans allow customers to connect up to 5 different devices under one single plan, which EE claims to be first of its kind in the country. So couples and family members can choose to use the same contract, giving them “great convenience and value”.

Director of Propositions at EE, Simeon Bird, claims that the Shared 4GEE plans can help save money of almost £500 a year for a typical family of four, on their bill for mobile services. With EE switching on double-speed 4G in 12 major cities of UK, their consumers and business customers can be given great value by sharing their text, voice and data allowances. They will also receive great benefits. A shared plan can give up to 20GB of shareable data, plus unlimited texts and call for phones. Customers can add people as when they wish. Older phones not needing 4G service can work on the 3G network. There are convenient choices of bundles too being offered by EE.
