EE: Double-speed 4G mobile broadband to be launched today in 12 cities

EE’s mobile broadband subscribers in London, Birmingham and 10 other UK cities will get double-speed 4G starting from today that is 4th of July. The current average speed has been doubled to between 24Mbps and 30Mbps. With this customers will be able to access mobile broadband at a speed of 150Mbps.

Other 10 cities that will get this new service are Cardiff, Bristol, Derby, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham and Sheffield. According to EE, this new speed is sure to surpass even top mobile broadband speed available at US, Japan and South Korea.

EE is planning to bring in more services on July 17th when 4G mobile and fibre optic broadband networks will be capitalised. And you can connect upto four devices on a single deal with the new Shared 4GEE plan. And with Pay As You Go 4GEE Mobile Broadband you can experience super fast broadband speeds on travel without going in for a fixed contract.

According to the Chief Executive of EE, the company has gone one step forward of its rivals with the launch of double-speed 4G. This new technology has also proved that it has the best, fastest and biggest in the UK and now even the fastest in the whole world, he added.
