Popular internet service provider operating in the United Kingdom KCOM Internet has reportedly increased its home and business broadband packages' data download limits with some selected plans offering as good as 100GB per month.

According to the reports, the Home Select broadband package of the provider has been provided a big boost, as its download allowance has been raised to 50GB from the previous 10GB. The Home Pro broadband package meanwhile, has its dta allowance doubled to 100GB per month.

The UK broadband provider has also increased the data allowances across its business packages with its Home Office broadband package's data allowance increased to 10GB a month, that of its Business Bronze broadband package to 50GB and that of its Business Silver package to 100GB per month.

Nonetheless, the Broadband provider has not made any alterations on its Business Gold broadband package with an unlimited broadband data usage, which is shrouded by a fair usage policy.

According to KCOM Internet's director Clodagh Murphy, the company has increased the usage limits of these broadband packages in response to their customers' online behaviour changes. He added that these customers mainly ran small businesses based in offices or homes.
