Tiscali and Crisp joined forces to help parents
Tiscali has signed a deal with Crisp to distribute a software tool to its customers that will help to ensure that their children are safe from risks related to P2P sites and IM services like Yahoo messenger, myspace and MSN.
This software which will interpret voice chat and other communication that take place via social networking sites will provide alerts to the parents when their children get involved in potential risks. General parental controls sometimes do have loopholes so children manage to go online without the supervision of their parents. However, Crisp, the software maker says its child protection online tool is immune to such risks.
Tiscali will launch this software in March 2008 and the customers can subscribe to this broadband service for £3.99 a month or £36 a year.
