York Businesses get New High Speed Broadband Service

Reports reveal that York based businesses were all set to enjoy the benefits from a freshly launched superfast fibre broadband connection. According to the reports, the internet service provider for the York businesses is York Data Services that has rolled out fibre links of 2Gb in the area. 

This news has been reported by the Yorkshire Post, according to which the ISP has rolled out 2GB fibre optic cables between the London Docklands national internet hub and its Yorkshire Science Park data centre. 

It is also reported that the GBP 275,000 fibre broadband scheme, would be used to provide super fast internet access to local businesses. According to the broadband providing firm the new scheme could also glean some inward investment. 

Mark Fordyce, the chairman and chief executive of York Data Services claimed that the company would also assist in bolstering the existing broadband service that has been used by many clients of the company. He also suggested that some exciting developments could emerge in the future, based on the fresh move.
